Stephanie is a writer and editor who lives in Christchurch, New Zealand, with her wonderful partner and very grumpy cat. She attended the University of Canterbury where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in English and Classics, and also holds a Diploma in Film and Television Production specialising in Writing and Directing. She is a regular writer for national soap opera Shortland Street alongside a number of other TV credits. 

After several years working in the television industry, Stephanie returned to her first love: books. Gaining experience as an editor via a number of small presses, Stephanie has worked on hundreds of books in a variety of genres, from self-help to memoir to romance. Her personal favourites are fantasy, of which she is passionate about as a reader as well as an editor, and children’s picture book editing, which she finds always poses unique and interesting challenges.
